Breathtakingly Original
The Lingerie Room is a highly original and breathtaking novel by Brownie. Each of the chapters deal with a couple in a relationship which is either stagnant or in various stages of decline. Some find their soulmates, but they are not necessarily the people they came in with some are headed for tragedy, but all people are tested on an exploratory level, to gauge their commitment to each other. At the same time they are either resisting or indulging in what�s on offer at the Lingerie Room. They are put to the test with their intentions to each other in soul baring honesty. They explore their innermost feelings and lay their relationships up for scrutiny amongst the temptations of the lingerie room, a futuristic brothel, where anything goes. In times where the new law of union is anti-marriage, it is indeed a test of their faith in each other�s love and dedication to each other. With a mixture of fascinating characters, including a time warp assassin and a self-absorbed alien being, this well-written, fast moving erotic story makes for a great, riveting read. It would also translate well into a sleek sci-fi movie.
